Dr Koketso Pule is a specialist Obstetrician and Gynaecologist dedicated to providing compassionate, respectful and evidence-based healthcare to women throughout every stage of life.
She obtained her Biomedical Science and medical degrees from the University of the Witwatersrand (Wits), where she subsequently completed her specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
Dr Pule believes that women should feel heard, informed and actively involved in decisions about their health. Her approach combines clinical expertise with personalised care, whether supporting a woman through pregnancy and childbirth, investigating fertility concerns, managing menstrual or gynaecological conditions, or navigating perimenopause and menopause.
She has a particular interest in minimally invasive gynaecological surgery, reproductive health and fertility, as well as women's health across the life course.
Beyond her clinical practice, Dr Pule is actively involved in advancing women's health locally and internationally. She previously served as Co-Chair of the South African Association of Trainees in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (SAATOG) and represented South Africa through the World Association of Trainees in Obstetrics and Gynecology (WATOG) Global Exchange Programme in Paris. She currently serves on the FIGO Committee on Minimal Access Surgery (2025–2027), contributing to international efforts to advance safe, innovative and minimally invasive gynaecological care.
At the heart of her practice is a simple philosophy: women deserve healthcare that is clinically excellent, compassionate and centred around their individual needs.
